With nearly a decade of experience in guiding students to German universities, Özcan founded Doğru Danışman in 2015 with a simple mission: make studying in Germany accessible and achievable for everyone. Having personally navigated the complexities of international education, he understands the challenges students face and is dedicated to providing genuine, transparent support.

Based between Istanbul and Gelsenkirchen, Özcan brings firsthand knowledge of both Turkish and German educational systems, ensuring students receive culturally aware and practically sound guidance throughout their journey.

How We Started

Doğru Danışman was founded in 2015 by Özcan Doğru, born from personal experience and a genuine desire to help students navigate the complexities of studying in Germany. What started as helping friends and family has grown into a comprehensive consultancy with offices in both Istanbul, Turkey and Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

After successfully navigating the application process, securing admissions, obtaining visas, and settling into life in Germany, Özcan realized he could help others avoid the same struggles. He wanted to create a platform that combines professional expertise with authentic, student-focused support.
